WOOD FLOORING ACCESSORIES

• 
  Skirting (Wall Base / Base Board)
  Skirting that attaches to the wall and covers the flooring expansion gap (typically 1/4 gap or more). Can be combined with a Quarter R sound when covering larger expansion gaps.
• 
  T-Molding
  T-molding is used for transition between floors of the same thickness. lt is normally installed at doorways or areas when transitioning to a similar or same-height floor.
• 
  Quarter Round / Scotia
  Quarter Round /Scotia is used to cover the expansion joint between the floor and the wall, placed in front of an existing Skriting and covers the expansion gap. Required with many floors. This can be used as an alternative to Skirting.
• 
  End Cap (Threshold)
  End Cap is used in the doorway, at the sliding door, carpet, masonry (fireplace) and other exterior floor jambs, etc, to join flooring at different heights, in front of adjacent sills, tiles, or other raised surfaces or platforms.
• 
  Stair Nose
  Stair Nose is used for installation on the front edge between the raise and step, this allows you to install the flooring on your stairs. Use this on the edge of the stair tread to provide a curved wrap and build the rest of the step out of the new flooring material itself.
• 
  Reducer
  Reducer is used for transitioning down to adjoining lower floors, to provide a smooth transition of floor covering of different heights eg, connecting hardwood floor with carpet, or tiles.
